VTCTest (71.14.2.158) is a publicly available test site for H.323 VTC systems.

This site is provided by Gary Miyakawa, Inc.

VTCTest is designed to help assure your H.323 system is working correctly by testing:

  1. Connectivity (bi-directionally)

  2. Video (bi-directionally)

  3. Audio (bi-directionally)

  4. Content / H.239 (from VTCTest)

  5. (Visual indicators show you the status/progress of these tests.)

You might want to check out these links...

http://www.vtctest.com/demo  (Basic session information)

http://www.vtctest.com/pdemo  (Premier session information)

The Basic is 2 pages long and the Premier is 6 pages long.

I will be modifying the output with description of many of the "little known" fields in the near future.

Notice we give you things like out of order packet count, PORT usage, etc.

Also, the next time you ask www.vtctest.com  for a test, be sure to note the new information on the screen.

You will see a link to http://www.vtctest.com/XXXXXX where XXXXXX is your session code.

If you hit that with a browser, you will get the "Basic" level of information about your test call.

They also offer archives of their broadcasts so if you want to check it out and see some of the information that is available follow the links.

YOU DO NOT NEED Video equipment to view the archives. But you may have to install or allow the install of ActiveX services to access the data.
